I Lake Street Dive hanno ampliato i confini del pop come forza unificante, non solo attraverso il loro sound eclettico, una fusione audace e originale di soul, folk, jazz, pop classico e molto altro, ma anche grazie a un approccio inclusivo che li ha resi una delle live band più amate, celebri per la loro capacità di creare un legame profondo con ogni pubblico.

Nel realizzare il nuovo album “Good Together”, la cantante Rachael Price, la bassista e corista Bridget Kearney, il batterista e corista Mike Calabrese, il tastierista e cantante Akie Bermiss e il chitarrista e corista James Cornelison hanno rafforzato il senso di missione che anima la loro musica, concentrandosi sui molti fattori che oggi ci allontanano, come la crescita incontrollata della tecnologia, l’isolamento culturale e il culto dell’auto-ottimizzazione a tutti i costi.

Nato da una visione che la band definisce di “gioiosa ribellione”, Good Together è un lavoro tanto gloriosamente anticonformista quanto capace di ispirare danza sfrenata e cori collettivi.

Successore di “Obviously” (2021), il disco vede ancora una volta la collaborazione con il produttore vincitore di Grammy Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). Con un paesaggio sonoro che abbraccia R&B, funk e pop brasiliano, l’album si apre con la title track, una love song fuori dagli schemi che celebra l’ebbrezza di seguire il proprio cuore e sfidare le aspettative.
