Foy Vance è un cantautore di Bangor, Irlanda del Nord.

Ispirato dalla ricca storia musicale e dall’estetica del sud degli Stati Uniti, Foy Vance ha pubblicato nel 2007 il suo album di debutto, Hope, attirando subito l’attenzione del pubblico e di altri musicisti.

Il secondo album di Foy Vance, Joy of Nothing, arriva nel 2013. Per la critica è un successo e viene invitato in tour da artisti come Ed Sheeran, Bonnie Raitt, Marcus Foster, Snow Patrol e Elton John.

Foy Vance è stato solo il secondo artista a firmare per Gingerbread Man Records, l’etichetta di Ed Sheeran all’interno di Atlantic Records. Il suo debutto con l’etichetta è The Wild Swan, in cui figura Elton John come produttore esecutivo. Nel video del singolo She Burns è presente l’attrice di Pretty Little Liars e People’s Choice Award Lucy Hale. Nel video di Coco è invece presente l’ispirazione che dà il titolo alla canzone, Coco Arquette, la figlia di Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Inoltre, il video è diretto dalla stessa Courteney Cox.

Nel 2019 Foy Vance ha pubblicato due album, From Muscle Shoals e To Memphis, che rendono omaggio alla tradizione soul e a quella americana, che influenzano il suo modo di scrivere.

L’ultimo album di Foy Vance è Signs Of Life, pubblicato il 10 settembre 2021.
