Il Wu-Tang Clan è un influente collettivo hip hop americano formatosi a Staten Island, New York City, nel 1992. Il gruppo è accreditato per aver rivitalizzato l'hip hop della East Coast ed è considerato uno dei più grandi gruppi hip hop di tutti i tempi. I membri fondatori includono RZA (leader e produttore), GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa e il compianto Ol' Dirty Bastard (deceduto nel 2004). Successivamente, anche Cappadonna e DJ Mathematics sono diventati membri ufficiali.

Dopo aver firmato con Loud Records, il Clan ha pubblicato il suo rivoluzionario album di debutto, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (1993), universalmente considerato uno dei più grandi album hip hop. Questo successo ha permesso ai singoli membri di negoziare contratti solisti, seguendo l'insolito modello di business ideato da RZA.

Il loro secondo album, Wu-Tang Forever (1997), ha debuttato in cima alla Billboard 200 ed è stato nominato per un Grammy. Il gruppo ha pubblicato altri album come The W (2000), Iron Flag (2001), 8 Diagrams (2007) e A Better Tomorrow (2014). Hanno anche creato il disco unico, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin (2015), venduto per $2 milioni.

Il collettivo ha continuato a lavorare e, nel 2024, è diventato il primo gruppo hip hop ad avere una residency a Las Vegas. Nel 2025 hanno annunciato la loro ultima tournée, "Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber."
