L’album di debutto di Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, in arte Halsey, è stato “Badlands” (2015), contenente i singoli “Ghost”, “New Americana”, “Colors” e “Castle”. Halsey è salita alla ribalta nel 2016 con “Closer” in collaborazione con il duo Chainsmokers, singolo che è valso loro una nomination ai Grammy Awards come “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance”.

In 2017, Halsey ha pubblicato il suo secondo album in studio “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” e le hit “Now or Never” e “Bad at Love”. Nello stesso anno, Halsey e il rapper e allora compagno G-Eazy hanno rilasciato la loro collaborazione “Him & I”, posizionatosi alla #1 della classifica Pop Songs Airplay di Billboard e la #1 nelle radio Top 40.

Nell’estate 2018, è uscito “Eastside”, il singolo di Halsey e Khalid prodotto da Benny Blanco, subito alla #1 della classifica dei singoli nel Regno Unito. Nell’ottobre 2018, è stata la volta del singolo “Without Me” (certificato platino in Italia e con oltre 1 miliardo di stream globali).

Halsey vanta 23 miliardi di stream e oltre 9 milioni di album venduti in tutto il mondo; è, inoltre, stata la prima artista della storia ad avere due singoli alla prima posizione della classifica radio in America per due settimane consecutive.

Il 13 febbraio 2019, Halsey ha pubblicato “11 minutes” insieme alla giovane promessa del rock inglese Yungblud, a cui è seguito “Nightmare” nel maggio scorso.

Il nuovo album “Manic”, uscito il 17 gennaio 2020, è stato anticipato dai singoli “Clementine”, “Graveyard”, “You Should Be Sad”, “Finally // Beautiful Strangers” e “Suga’s Interlude”.
