The Subways are an English indie rock band that has been active since 2003. Today the group consists of Billy Lunn, Charlotte Cooper, and Camille Phillips.

From the beginning, The Subways released many demos and EPs and, in 2004, participated in the Glastonbury festival. The following year, after signing with City Pavement & Infectious Records, they released their first album “Young for Eternity", produced by Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie.

After playing at numerous festivals and supporting AC/DC at Wembley Stadium and Hampden Park in 2009, The Subways release “Money and Celebrity", their third studio album.

The years between 2013 and 2016 are very productive for The Subways: they release the "Good Times EP" EP, the “Acoustic Adventures at Yfe Studios” EP and the album “The Subways".

Their most recent work to date is the album “Uncertain Joys” released in 2023.
