About
La Niña, a pseudonym for Carola Moccia, is an Italian singer-songwriter. She began to discover a passion for music thanks to her musician father and artist mother. At an early age she began studying guitar, an instrument that led her to write her first songs.
In 2015 together with Alfredo Maddaluno she founded the electro pop duo Yombe. With Yombe she released the EP “Yombe” in 2016 and the album “GOOOD” in 2017.
After Yombe ended, LA NIÑA reconnected with the culture and music of her homeland, Naples, and began writing songs in the Neapolitan language. In 2021 she released her first solo EP, “EDEN", and in 2023 her first album “VANITAS”.
On 15 January 2025 LA NIÑA released the single “GUAPPARÌA” anticipating the album FURÈSTA. In the track she deals with the theme of organized crime and how this damages the beauty of a city. Soon after, in March, she released her latest work, the single “FIGLIA D' 'A TEMPESTA".
