All about Fabri Fibra
Fabri Fibra, stage name of Fabrizio Tarducci, is one of the pioneers of hip-hop in Italy. Fibra debuted in 1994 with the group Uomini di Mare together with Lato with the demo Dei di Mare Quest’el Guev followed by the album Sindrome di Fine Millenio.
After the militancy in Uomini di Mare e in the collective Teste Mobili, Fabri Fibra has started to follow his solo career debuting with Turbe Giovanili in 2022. Turbe Giovanili was followed by Mr. Simpatia with which he has achieved fame. Mr. Simpatia was certified platinum and includes the hits Non Fare la Puttana, Momenti No e Rap in Vena.
In 2006 Fabri Fibra left the world of underground hip-hop and approached the mainstream with albums like Tradimento of 2006 and Bugiardo of 2007.
Among the most famous songs of Fabri Fibra we can recall Applausi per Fibra and Vaffanculo Scemo featuring Nesli included in Tradimento of 2006, In Italia featuring Gianna Nannini and La Soluzione taken off Bugiardo of 2007 besides Tranne Te and Vip in Trip from Controcultura of 2010.
The latest work of Fabri Fibra is the album Fenomeno of 2017. The album was certified double platinum thanks to songs like Fenomeno, Stavo Pensando a Te and Pamplona featuring Thegiornalisti with more tha 40 million streams on Spotify.
In 2022 Fabri Fibra released his anticipated album Caos on March, 18.
On May 26, 2023, the single “Parafulmini,” on which the rapper collaborated with Hernia and Bresh, was released. The album “Chaos” was a hit, certified double platinum.
On February 23, 2024, he released the single In Italia 2024, a re-release of the 2008 track of the same name, this time in collaboration with Emma and Baby Gang. In the same month, episodes of the talent show Nuova Scena, distributed by Netflix Italy, are broadcast, in which the artist plays the role of judge (along with Rose Villain and Geolier).
Fabri Fibra made a powerful comeback in 2025 with the release of his album Mentre Los Angeles brucia (While Los Angeles Burns), an ambitious and introspective project featuring notable collaborations and poetic sounds. Launched by hit singles such as “Che gusto c'è,” “Stupidi,” and “Milano baby,” the album was accompanied by the Festival Tour 2025, which saw him perform on some of Italy's most iconic stages, including festivals and historic venues. A powerful and mature comeback that confirms his status as a milestone figure in Italian rap.
