About
ELASI is an Alexandrian singer-songwriter, composer and producer who travels through real and imaginary worlds. With a classical guitar training at the Alessandria conservatory and a production and composition apprenticeship in Los Angeles, ELASI explodes stroboscopic matryoshka dolls of styles, metropolises of sparkling synthesizers, and exotic sounds discovered in very distant countries in his music.
In CAMPI ELASI (2020, Sugar Music), his debut EP, he has developed remote collaborations with musicians from all over the world (from Mali to Brazil, from India to Armenia) creating a sound with fluid and colorful geographical and stylistic boundaries. The single Valanghe has obtained important placements and recognitions: the Nuovo IMAIE award for Musiculture, radio and streams from Taiwan to South America (thanks to a Netflix series).
In 2022 he released the EP OASI ELASI (Trident Music/Capitol Records): a journey that mixes electronics, pop, traditional instruments, choirs from distant countries and collaborations with names such as Rocco Rampino, Populous, Meryem Aboulouafa (Morocco) and Eva De Marce (Mexico). Thanks to this latest work, she was the first Italian artist to be supported by MTV Push and the first producer to be recognized with the OSA‐Città di Matera award which supported her in her ethno‐musical research with an artistic residency in Albania.
In summer 2023, she released with the singles: Che Caldo in collaboration with the French producer Anoraak; Hitchhiking with Willie Peyote; Disco Vanilla, for the prestigious international publishing Ninja Tune.
During 2024 the singles TIGRE BIANCA will be released, with Fresco, MUSICA ESPECIAL together with Sebra Cruz and Malamore in collaboration with Lele Sacchi for Toytonics (DE).
ELASI released his album ELASIR for Trident Music/Believe/Warner Music Publishing in January 2015 with excellent feedback from critics and the public, in promotion with a national tour. In July 2025 she released the single AMORE GODZILLA together with PLASTICA, confirming herself as one of the greatest exponents of the Italian dance/electronic scene.
In March 2025 she was invited to participate in the final of the San Marino Song Contest, winning fourth place with the single Lorella.
ELASI has performed at major international and national festivals such as Zandari Fest in Seoul, Boiler Room in Milan, Sziget Festival in Budapest La Prima Estate Festival, Videocittà, MI AMI, and many others.
Singer, multi-instrumentalist and performer, in her live performances she performs alone playing synthesizers, guitars and consoles and dancing with two dancers. The show is accompanied by surrealist and colorful visuals and stage costumes.
ELASI is co-founder of POCHE Cltv, the first Italian network of producers in whose name she curated, together with producer PLASTICA, a musical review of electronic/ambient musicians at the Milan Triennale, a series of free workshops for producers (professional or future) in collaboration with Ableton Italia and other activities with national and international entities.
ELASI periodically holds electronic music workshops for children, collaborating with Triennale, Radio Raheem, Fondazione di Venezia and M9 Museum.
