Dream Gospel Choir Tickets

Formed by the new voices of the contemporary scene, the traditional singers who have performed in Harlem's longest-running choirs, and the best musicians from New York's black churches, the Dream Gospel Choir is considered by critics to be the most interesting choir of the new gospel scene in Harlem, the true heart and world cradle of gospel music. The tenor section has performed for two Popes (John Paul II and Benedict XVI), two Presidents of the United States of America (Carter and Obama) and for the Royal Family, while the female soprano section has collaborated with André Rieu, Ben Harper, Pharrell Williams and even performed at the Sanremo Festival in 2022. The Dream Gospel Choir was founded with the aim of transcending cultural barriers by uniting thousands of people from different nations and cultures, sharing through their music the messages of love, peace and harmony that have characterised the gospel tradition since its inception. On the setlist will be Amazing Grace, When The Saints, Oh Happy Day and all the traditional American gospel songs that reach deep into the soul of the listener, spreading a message of joy and hope. There will also be some forays into soul music, blues music, and a medley of the main Christmas songs, in an exciting encounter between classic melodies and contemporary sounds. The Dream Gospel Choir concerts promise to be a unique musical experience, a rhapsody between the sacredness of traditional gospel and its vibrant evolutions.
