First he taught himself to play the guitar, then he studied jazz, and finally came singing and a love of writing.

After ten years of experience in a band, with which he released two albums and played more than 300 dates throughout Italy (also opening concerts for Negrita, Tommy Emmanuel, Deep Purple, La Crus, Marlene Kuntz, Velvet, Tricarico, and Pierpaolo Capovilla), Andrea Cerrato made his debut as a solo artist.

Between 2015 and 2022, using only his own social media channels, he gained hundreds of thousands of views, reaching over a million subscribers on various channels and millions of streams across all platforms, while also playing in a wide variety of contexts: from clubs to house concerts, from festivals to busking.

He released four albums ranging from pop to folk and singer-songwriter, moving from recognizable melodies to personal lyrics and using simplicity as the key to depth.

In 2024, his first official club tour sold out on all dates and repeat performances, returning to venues such as Santeria Toscana in Milan and Largo Venue in Rome.

In 2025, he returned with new music and was among the artists performing at the May 1 concert in Piazza San Giovanni in Rome, the first in a series of new concerts that would see him travel throughout Italy..
