All about Achille Lauro

Born in 1990, Achille Lauro is a rock star who leaves nothing to chance, from his artistic production to his staging. Born in Rome with the name Lauro De Marinis, Achille Lauro is the son of Nicola De Marinis, a judge at the Corte di Cassazione.

Who is Achille Lauro actually? A charismatic personality, a figure that cannot go unnoticed since he is one meter and 82 centimeters tall and often his heels and extravagant clothes allow him to distinguish himself and stand out like few others in the current music scene. A histrionic character from whom you would expect a lifestyle made of excesses, but the reality is quite different: the singer is keen to safeguard his privacy, as can be seen from his hidden love story with Francesca, his historical girlfriend with whom he has been engaged for several years.

Recruited by Noyz Narcos to the Roccia Music label (Shablo, Marracash), the prominent Fourth Block artist made his debut for the label in 2014 with Achille Idol immortale, which featured collaborations with Marracash, Noyz Narcos, Gemitaiz and Coez. As part of the album, Lauro reads a verse from the Gospel at the end of each track.

Paired with producer and friend Boss Doms, Lauro placed third in Pechino Express in 2017.

In 2019, Achille Lauro participated in Sanremo Music Festival with the song Rolls Royce, where the luxury car symbolizes the wild life of rock stars. In 2020, the Roman rapper returned to the Ariston with the track Me ne frego. Lauro, accompanied by the faithful Boss Doms, studied the Sanremo performances in detail. He wore clothes that paid tribute to emblematic characters of national and international history, from Saint Francis of Assisi and Giotto, to the Marchesa Luisa Casati and Queen Elizabeth I of England.

After releasing the singles 16 Marzo and Bam Bam Twist in collaboration with Gow Tribe, the Chief Creative Director of Elektra Records was a regular guest at the 71st edition of Sanremo Music Festival and performed his songs each night paying homage to glam rock, rock and roll, pop, punk rock and classical music with his songs.

Achille Lauro released the album LAURO on 16 April 2021 and in the summer of the same year he released the single MILLE, in collaboration with Fedez and Orietta Berti. On 22 October 2021 the single IO E TE was released.

Achille also participates to the competition of Sanremo Music Festival in 2022 with the song DOMENICA, accompanied by the Harlem Gospel Choir, the most famous gospel choir in America and one of the most famous in the world. DOMENICA is featured in the new album LAURO – Achille Idol Superstar, a new edition of the album LAURO

In 2022 Achille Lauro partecipated in Eurovision Song Contest with the song STRIPPER.

In the summer of 2023, Achille Lauro released the hit song Fragole with Rose Villain
