About
Willie Peyote, a pseudonym for Guglielmo Bruno, is an Italian rapper and singer-songwriter.
He made his debut in music with the release of his first album “Manuale del giovane nichilista” in 2011. Already from the title of the album one can grasp his worldview and his way of communicating it to his listeners, condensed into a provocative mix of cynicism, self-mockery and social denunciation.
The third album, “Educazione sabauda”, studded with more or less direct quotations aimed at the big names in hip hop, rock, and songwriting, arrived in 2015 and was well received by critics.
After the release of his fourth and fifth albums, “Sindrome di Tôret” and “Iodegradabile” respectively, in 2021 he competed at the 71st Sanremo Festival with the song "Mai dire mai (la locura)".
His latest works include the studio album “Pornostalgia” in 2022 and the EP “Sulla riva del fiume” in 2024.
In 2025 he returned to the Sanremo Festival with the song “Grazie ma no grazie", which finished in 16th place.
