The Witches Seed Tickets

The Witches Seed, the rock opera born from the idea of Stewart Copeland, was worldwide premiered on July 22 and 23 in the amazing location of Teatro Tones Natura in Oira (Verbano Cusio Ossola).

Plot

The main characters of The Witches Seed are four witches who will bring the audience in a journey made of perecutions, new faiths and diabolic plans during a period of economical, political and spiritual crisis worsened by the devastation of the plague all over Europe.

The plot includes tales about the power of the natural elements (such as thunders, storms and lightings), supernatural transformations and pagan rituals that defied the laws imposed by the Catholic Church.

Cast

The big cast of The Witches Seed includes artists with different vocal styles. The four main characters of the opera are Isabetta with her rock voice (played by famous Italian singer Irene Grandi), the lyrical soprano Netta interpreted by Veronica Granatiero, the mezzo soprano Manzinetta interpreted by Maddalena Calderoni and the white voice Teresa.

Scenography

The Witches Seed is a contemporary opera with a fantasy scenography which with the employment of innovative digital technologies will increase the engagement of the audience. The amazing location of Cava Roncino in Oria Crevoladossola is the perfect background for a unique experience.
