In the same year, The Vaccines was awarded the title “Best New Band at the NME Awards.
The Vaccines four albums “What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?” (2011), “Come of Age” (2012), “English Graffiti” (2015) and “Combat Sports” (2018) sold almost 2 million copies internationally. On their latest album, “Combat Sports”, The Vaccines went back to their roots: they put aside the pop experimentations of the past and focused on guitars, speed, pragmatism and catchy choruses.
The Vaccines opened the concerts of some of the most important artists such as The Rolling Stones, Arcade Fire, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Muse and played on the stages of the most important international music festivals.
British Indie Rock band The Vaccines have just announced a European tour that will see them return to Italy, after last landing in 2019. In addition, the band has announced their new album Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations, 60s-inspired classicist guitar pop, which will be released on 12 January 2024.
