About
Hailing from Dublin, THE MURDER CAPITAL have established themselves as one of the most intense bands in the contemporary post-punk scene. Founded in 2018 by James McGovern, they offer a raw sound reminiscent of 1980s British post-punk. Their debut with ‘When I Have Fears’ (2019) immediately attracted attention due to the emotional depth of the songs and their intense and theatrical live performances. In 2023, with ‘Gigi's Recovery’, they explored new sounds, alternating between ethereal atmospheres and moments of pure aggression, consolidating their role in the alternative scene
