Originari di Dublino, THE MURDER CAPITAL si sono imposti come una delle band più intense della scena post-punk contemporanea. Fondati nel 2018 da James McGovern, propongono un sound crudo che richiama il post-punk britannico degli anni ’80. Il debutto con “When I Have Fears” (2019) ha subito attirato l’attenzione grazie alla profondità emotiva dei brani e alle loro esibizioni dal vivo, intense e teatrali. Nel 2023, con “Gigi’s Recovery”, esplorano nuove sonorità, alternando atmosfere eteree e momenti di pura aggressività, consolidando il loro ruolo nella scena alternativa
