Dancefloor queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor comes to Italy with a single date on Monday 22 September 2025 at Fabrique in Milan. With an impressive music career spanning over 25 years, Sophie has achieved five top 10 albums and eight top 10 singles. With hits such as ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’, ‘Take Me Home’, ‘Get Over You’, ‘Heartbreak (Make Me a Dancer)’ and many more, ‘.

After being used in the epic final scene of Emerald Fennell's film ‘Saltburn’, Sophie's beloved 2001 hit ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ experienced a huge resurgence, reaching number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and number 58 on the Billboard Top 100, with the song reaching over 11 billion global streams across all streaming and social platforms.

Sophie has recently held sold-out headlining tours in Europe and the US, supported Nile Rodgers and performed at festivals around the world, including performing with Peggy Gou during her set at Glastonbury, following her set on the legendary Pyramid Stage in 2023, and accompanied Take That in Australia in November and Human League in the UK in December.

On 25 October 2024, the magical and glorious new disco-pop anthem ‘Freedom of the Night’ was released. It is an energetic, fun and catchy single that sees Sophie enter a new era with a return to her iconic and much-loved disco-pop sound. The track sees Sophie reunite with Biff Stannard (Kylie, JADE) and Shura and collaborate with Chris Greatti (Willow Smith, The Dare) and David Wrench (Jamie XX, Hot Chip).

Sophie recently released her seventh studio album, ‘HANA’, which charted at No 8 in the UK Albums Chart, giving Sophie her fifth Top 10 record, and was the third in a trilogy of records made with long-time collaborator and friend Ed Harcourt.

Following her much-loved Kitchen Disco parties shared on Instagram during the lockdown period, Sophie released two albums, ‘Songs from the Kitchen Disco’ and ‘Sophie Ellis-Bextor's Kitchen Disco: Live from the London Palladium’, which followed the sold-out Kitchen Disco tour, continued in 2023 with the Christmas Kitchen Disco tour.

In addition to music, Sophie has published her first book ‘Spinning Plates’, is on the ninth series of the hit podcast of the same name, published her first cookbook ‘Love. Food. Family: Recipes from the Kitchen Disco' with her husband and The Feeling bassist Richard Jones and has a popular weekly show, “Sophie's Ellis-Bextor's Kitchen Disco” on BBC Radio 2. Sophie also completed an impressive 24-hour dance marathon for Children in Need in November 2021, raising over £1 million.
