Vito Ventura, aka Shade, is an Italian rapper who made his name in the Italian hip hop scene when he was very young.
At the age of sixteen, the rapper from Turin took part in and won several freestyle competitions, including two editions of Tecniche Perfette and the TV program MTV Spit presented by Marracash in 2013.
In addition to his music career, Shade enjoys working as a dubber: among the various projects he has given his voice to are the film South Park and the anime of the streaming portal VVVID.
His first studio album Mirabilansia dates back to 2015 and was followed a year later by his second album Clownstrophobia. But the incredible public response came in 2017 with the song Bene ma non benissimo (certified double Platinum), which made it to the final of the Summer Festival and reached more than 50 million views on Youtube.
Shade also counts several successful collaborations: in 2017 he duetted with Federica Carta on the single Irrangiungibile, which was certified triple Platinum and scored over 130 million views on Youtube. His other collaborations are On Demand with Benji & Fede and Figurati noi with Emma Muscat.
In 2019, Shade participated in the 69th edition of Sanremo Music Festival, once again teaming up with Federica Carta for the song Senza farlo apposta, followed by the single La hit dell'estate. In 2020, the single Allora ciao was certified Gold, while in June the summer hit Autostop came out.
June 1, 2021 he released the single In an Hour, which later became the theme song for the TV program Love Island.
On July 7, 2023, Shade's latest work was released and is titled Diversamente Triste. The album features Federica Carta, J-Ax, Vegas Jones, Giaime, Madman, Dani Faiv and Nero.
Shade will present all the songs from his new album during the Diversamente Tour which will touch major Italian cities.
