About
Paolo Stefano Ruffini is an Italian actor, TV host, director, screenwriter, theater producer and comedian.
After winning the Wanted VJ contest on Mtv in 2002, he began hosting programs such as MTV On the beach, Hitlist Italia, MTV Mobile Chart and Select. In 2005 he left the music network but not his hosting career. To date he has hosted numerous programs including Matinée and Colorado.
In addition to being a host, Ruffini has acted alongside major actors such as Luca Argentero, Paola Cortellesi, and Nino Frassica. His best-known films include Natale a Rio, C'è chi dice no and Natale col boss.
Since 2003 he has also acted in numerous theater shows including Tre cuori in affitto, Sogno di una notte di mezza estate (directed by Massimiliano Bruno) and Paolo Ruffini Show. The world of theater, however, does not see him only as an actor; in fact, Ruffini is also a director of plays such as Cono o Coppetta? and Via Crux.
Over the course of his career he has also written several books including La Sindrome di Up and Cosa vuole dire Prisse - Diario umorale di un cinefilo.
