Paolo Conte is one of the most innovative Italian songwriter and musician of all time, besides being known all over the world.

The artist was born in Asti where at young age he approached jazz music world playing the vibraphone in local bands. Paolo Conte has also begin to write songs inspired by everyday life, cinema and literature.

In the mid 60’s Paolo Conte achieved the fame as author: some of his songs reached the top of the music charts like Azzurro, the song first written by Conte and later performed by Celentano which made him famous beyond the Italian borders, Insieme A Te Non Ci Sto Più performed by Caterina Caselli, Messico e Nuvole performed by Enzo Jannacci and many others.

Paolo Conte debuted in 1974 with the homonymous album. The songwriter has released 15 albums and several live albums and best of compilations.

 Paolo Conte’s music originality has been appreciated in the theatres all over the world and the Maestro is a source of pride for Italy abroad.
