I Palaye Royale sono una rock band canadese-americana formatasi a Las Vegas dai fratelli Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, Emerson Barrett. Il nome del gruppo deriva dalla sala da ballo Palais Royale di Toronto dove i nonni si incontrarono per la prima volta.

Il gruppo ha debuttato nel 2012 con Morning Light seguito dall’EP The Ends Beginning del 2013, contenente brani come Die for Something Beautiful, Death Is A Party e Invite All Your Friends. I Palaye Royale hanno raggiunto la fama con l’album Boom Boom Room del 2016 contenente grazie a brani come Mr. Doctor Man con più di 24 milioni di ascolti su Spotify, e Get Higher entrata nella Billboard Modern Rock Charts.

Boom Boom Room è stato seguito da The Bastards, il secondo fortunatissimo album dei Palaye Royale pubblicato nel 2020. L’album ha raggiunto la Top 20 della Billboard Top Alternative Albums Chart ed è stato acclamato dalla critica. Tra i brani più famosi di The Bastards possiamo trovare Lonely, Hang on to Yourself, Little Bastards e Massacre, The New American Dream.

Dopo aver rilasciato i brani Paranoid, No Love in LA e Punching Bag nel corso del 2021, i Palaye Royale sono tornati con un nuovo album, Fever Dream, nell'ottobre del 2022.

Nel 2024 è la volta di Death Or Glory, quinto e più recente album della band. L'album, dal titolo audace e provocatorio, testimonia la continua evoluzione della band, portavoce di un sound che combina glam-rock, art-punk e brit-pop.
