The New Model Army is one of the most appreciated bands of the post-punk English eighties.
Formed in Bradford in 1980, the New Model Army is going through its fifth decade and shows no signs of sagging.
New Model Army’s sixteenth studio album, Unbroken, was released in January 2024 and garnered critical and public acclaim.
The New Model Army began composing the album in 2021, as the world and their own lives went through a phase of profound change. In the early stages, they decided to give the legendary Tchad Blake the task of mixing the album. Full of guitars, hot vocals and the particular emphasis on bass and drums that characterizes all their work, Unbroken sounds very New Model Army style, but with its peculiarities.
