Nada Surf are a band from New York.
Nada Surf born in 1990 from Matthew Caws and Daniel Lorca, two univeristy students from New York, who, once graduated, founded a group with a professor. Some years later, they created the current band. Currently the formation of Nada Surf is composed of Matthew Cawsv (guitar, voice), Ira Elliot (drums, choirs) and Daniel Lorça (bass, voice).
In 1996 Nada Surf released the first EP, Karmic, then re-released in 2007 with the bonus track Pressure Free, but especially the first album, High/Low, an indie rock gem and a sensational hit thanks to the single Popular: this allowed the band to do their first European tour.
From that momento on, Nada Surf kept touring and releasing projets such as The Proximity Effect, Let Go, The Weight Is a Gift, Lucky, If I Had a Hi-Fi, The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy, You Know Who You Are.
The latest album released by Nada Surf is Never Not Together, released in 2020.
