About Mogwai

The shows of Mogwai previously scheduled for February 27 2022 at Fabrique in Milan, for February 28 2022 at Atlantico Live! In Rome and for February 29 2022 at Vox Club in Nonantola (Modena) have been rescheduled for May 9 2022 at Atlantico Live in Rome, for May 10 at Fabrique in Milan and for May 11 at Vox Club in Nonantola (Modena). If you have already bought the tickets, these will be valid for the new corresponding date.

The Mogwai, the iconic post-rock band from Scotland, will land on Italy for three unmissable shows:

- May, 9 2022 – Atlantico Live!, Rome

- May, 10 2022 – Fabrique, Milan

- May 11, 2022 – Vox Club, Nonantola (Modena)

The Mogwai, whose name comes from the creatures of the famous movie The Gremlins, formed in 1996 in Glasgow. The band currently consist of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar, bass, and voice), Dominic Aitchison (bass and guitar), Martin Bulloch (drums) and Barry Burns (keyboards, synth, guitar, flute and voice).

In 1996 Mogwai debuted with the song Turner, followed by Dweed and New Paths to Helicon with which the band became popular in the underground music scene of Scotland.

Throughout their career Mogwai released ten albums, among we can recall the debut album Mogwai Young Team of 1996 including only instrumental songs except R U Still In 2 It, Rock Action of 2002 featuring the collaborations with Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) for Dial:Revenge and David Pajo for Take Me Somewhere Nice, and Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will put out in 2006 via Sub Pop (Nirvana, Low, L7, The Jesus & Mary Chain).

The band from Glasgow will bring to Italy the songs of their latest work As The Love Continues, released in February 2021 and nominated for the Mercury Prize. Mogwai’s latest work was produced by the famous producer and founding member of the Mercury Rev Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, The Flaming Lips, Low, The Vaccines, Interpol). The album includes the songs Dry Fantasy, Ritchie Sacramento e Midnight Fire (featuring Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails).
