Michael Franti, the songwriter singing about the outsiders, is performing with Spearhead at Circolo Magnolia in Milan on February, 3 2023 for one and only Italian date.
The musician and philanthropist Michael Franti believes we have to defend the good that is left in the world. This thought pervades Franti’s successful album “Stay Human Vol. II”, which is inspired by his self-directed documentary “Stay Human.” The doc, which came out in 2018, has received many accolades at film festivals all over the world.
“Stay Human, Vol. 2”, whose title references Franti’s 2001 album “Stay Human”, talks about hope, motivation and the desire to make a difference in these dark times. Sonically, “Stay Human, Vol. 2” sticks to Franti’s distinctive sound, a mix of reggae, rock, rap, folk and pop.
Throughout his thirty-year career, Franti conquered the international charts with hits brimming with optimism such as “Sound of Sunshine” and “Say Hey (I Love You).”
Franti owns the leading yoga retreat in Bali, Soulshine Bali, and founded the organization “Do It For The Love” with his wife Sara Agah Franti. The organization helps terminally ill people, veterans and sick children attend concerts all over the world.
