About

The concert The Supreme Model arrives on May 27 2022 at Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice for the Festival The World of César Franck (1822-1890).

The performance will be dedicated to the masterly Sonata For Piano and Violin of César Franck, composed in honor of Eugène Ysaÿe in 1886 and classified as one of the staples of the late nineteenth-century French chamber repertoire.

During the performance the violinist Maria Milstein and the pianist Nathalia Milstein will play the Sonata by Franck surrounded by works of Mel Bonis and Lili Boulanger, such as Nocturne and Cortége. Mel Bonis unofficially attended Franck’s organ class and followed his footsteps throughout her life as we can see from her Sonata For Violin and Pianoforte of 1916 which is also enriched by the research into Greek music conducted by the teacher Louis-Albert Bourgault-Ducoudray.

You can’t miss the chance to attend to the concert dedicated to César Franck’s students, buy immediately the official tickets!
