Laura Pausini is the most influential female Italian singer in the world. In 1993 she won the Sanremo Festival with 'La Solitudine'. Since then she has released 12 studio albums and sold more than 70 million copies. She has won 1 Grammy Award, 4 Latin Grammy Awards, 1 Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for the original song Io Sì (Seen).

Her albums are in Italian and Spanish, but she also sings in Portuguese, English and French. She has performed in the most prestigious venues: the Circus Maximus in Rome, the Royal Albert Hall in London, Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall in New York and was the first female artist to tour Italian stadiums.

Laura has collaborated with many international artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Ennio Morricone, Phil Collins, Michael Bublé, to name a few. She has collaborated with Nobel Prize winners, Live8 and organised the biggest female concert in support of the earthquake victims in Abruzzo, even receiving a letter from the UN.

Pausini has hosted 3 TV programmes in Italy, Premio Lo Nuestro (2018), Eurovision Song Contest and the Latin Grammy Awards (first Italian artist to do so) in 2022 and has taken part, as a judge, in2 The Voice Mexico, 2 The Voice Spain, 1 X Factor Spain and 2 La Banda.

In 2022 her first biopic 'Laura Pausini-Piacere di Conoscerti' ('Un Placer Conocerte' in Spanish) was produced. The English 'The Sun' named her among the 30 singers who 'will never be forgotten', and she was awarded the honour of 'Commendatore della Repubblica Italiana'. In 2023, she became the first non-Spanish-speaking female artist to be named Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy.
