La Zanzara is a radio program broadcast by Radio 24 and hosted by Giuseppe Cruciani with the collaboration of David Parenzo.
The title of the program is inspired by the name of the famous student newspaper La zanzara from the Parini high school in Milan and a classic musical piece called Il volo del calabrone.
Broadcast for the first time on Jan. 9 2006, the program features interviews with numerous guests and comments on current events with protagonists of Italian political, social, and cultural life and with phone-in radio listeners.
Over the years, the program has received numerous awards: the Grolla d'Oro Award, the Political Satire Award, the Premiolino, the Ambrogino d'Oro and, five times, the Cuffie d'oro Award.
