Kaze was born in 2010 from the meeting between Japanese Satoko Fujii and Natsuki Tamura and French Peter Orins, percussionist, and Christian Pruvost, among the most original new trumpeters of European jazz.
The complete formation comprises Satoko Fujii (piano), Natsuki Tamura and Christian Pruvost (trumpets) and Peter Orins (drums).
For this European tour the band is accompanied by the electronic musician Ikue Mori, with whom he recorded in 2020 the album Sand Storm.
