Judith Hill is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, one of the most talented ones of contemporary soul.

Hill's mother is a Japanese classic pianist, passioned about black music, her father is an African-American bassist. Judith started her career as a backup singer, working with famous artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Anastacia and Robbie Williams.

In 2013 Judith Hill became famous when she competed on the talent show The Voice. Judith didn’t win the edition, but she made a name for herself. The artist signed a record deal and released in 2015 her debut album Back in Time including the collaboration with Prince, one of her favourite artists. The album it is a mix of funk, soul and R&B, with a major influence by Prince.

Throughout her career Judith Hill has released three albums, Back in Time, Golden Child and Baby, I’m Hollywood! .

Judith Hill was also featured in the soundtrack of the movie Red Hook Summer directed by Spike Lee and in 2015 she won a Grammy Award for Best Music Film with 20 Feet from Stardom.
