About
Jinjer is a Ukrainian band formed in 2008 in Donetsk.
In 2014 they debuted with the album “Cloud Factory”, and then won the Best Ukrainian Metal Act Award given by the InshaMuzyka label. In 2016 Jinjer released “King of Everything”. The highly successful album was particularly driven by the music video of the song "Pisces" that went viral due to Tatiana Shmayluk's frequent singing changes, between melodic and growl.
After embarking on two European tours in support of Arch Enemy and a North American tour together with Cradle of Filth, in 2019 the band released the EP “Micro” and the album “Macro”. These were followed in 2021 by the album “Wallflowers”.
Jinjer's most recent works are the EP “Pink (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)” and the album “Duél”, both released in early 2025.
Today the group consists of Tatiana Shmailyuk (vocals), Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitar), Eugene Abdukhanov (bass) and Vladislav Ulasevich (drums).
