Italy Hip Hop Dance Championship is the Italian qualification for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship, the most famous Hip Hop competition in the world powered by Hip Hop International.
The winners of the five categories will have direct access to the World Hip Hop Dance Championship and will represent Italy.
The idea for Hip Hop International began in 2000 when co-founders Howard and Karen Schwartz saw street dancers in Paris and Tokyo. Because it was a type of entertainment that transcended language boundaries, they saw the potential to reach a wider audience. The goal was to professionalize street dance but honor its origins and traditions. With this goal in mind Hip Hop International approached pioneers, street dancers, dance professionals and choreographers to define the technical rules used worldwide today and released through the Rules & Regulations Workshop.
