About
Il Pagante is an Italian music group currently formed by Roberta Branchini, aka Brancar, and Edoardo Cremona, aka Eddy Veerus.
Il Pagante was founded in 2010 as a Facebook page ironising the lifestyle of the Milanese, the so-called PR people and those who buy tickets, i.e. the payers. The founders are Giordano Cremona, a member of the duo Merk & Kremont, Guglielmo Panzera and Alfredo Tomasi, and the two singers Roberta Branchini and Federica Napoli.
In 2012 Il Pagante released the debut single entitled Entro in pass and the tracks Si sboccia and Balza. Following the success of the first singles, the following year the video clip of #Sbatti was released, marking the official entry of Eddy Veerus into the band.
In 2014 Il Pagante released the golden disc singles Pettinero, Faccio after reaching the top 10 of the iTunes chart and millions of views on YouTube. In the same year they toured Italian discos and squares, and then released in 2015, in collaboration with Le Donatella, the song Vamonos, which reached number one in the iTunes charts and was certified platinum.
The hit La shampista was released in 2016 and features Max Pezzali in the official video. On 10 June of the same year, on the occasion of the European Football Championship, the Pagante released the platinum-certified single Bomber. The Pagante's first studio album is Entro in pass, which is followed by the Entro in pass club tour.
On 21 September 2018, the second studio album entitled Paninaro 2.0 is released, followed by further hits such as Radical chic, Settimana bianca, in whose video Massimo Boldi appeared, Portofino and Open Bar. The Pagante's latest studio album is Devastante, released on 21 January 2022 and anticipated by the single Un pacco per te, in collaboration with Lorella Cuccarini.
