Holden has been talked about a lot since he joined Amici 23, also because of his family. Holden’s real name is in fact Joseph Carta and he is the son of guitarist Paolo Carta, current husband of Laura Pausini.

Born in 2000, Holden is a young singer and producer who, also for the family in which he lives, very soon approached music, in particular the world of pop/EDM. His first experiences were in the world of Roman discos.

Holden released in March 2019 his first EP Il giovane Holden, containing the 3 tracks Il giovane Holden, Se stavo bene con te and Io rimango qua. Then, in August 2019, Holden entered Spotify’s Top Viral with the platinum-certified single Na Na Na. Of March 2021 Holden released his first, self-produced, album: PROLOGO.

Now Joseph Carta has been the protagonist of his adventure to Amici, a new step in his career, and announced his new EP, JOSEPH, to be released on 24 May 2024. JOSEPH will contain the singles DIMMI CHE NON È UN ADDIO, NUVOLA, SOLO STANOTTE and RANDAGI and 2 new records: NON SIAMO PIÙ NOI DUE with Gaia and OSSIDIANA.
