Gianni Morandi is one of the most famous Italian singers, musicians, actors and TV presenters with more than 50 millions copies sold.

Gianni was born on December 11 1944 in Monghidoro, a town in the Bolognese hills, where the artist has started to perform at the town celebrations with popular songs of the moment. In 1962, after the participation to the contest Voci Nuove Disco d’Oro, Gianni Morandi won the Festival of Bellaria earning a record deal with RCA Italiana.

After signing with RCA Italiana, Gianni Morandi released in 1962 his debut song Andavo a Cento All’Ora followed by Fatti Mandare dalla Mamma a Prendere il Latte with which the artist achieved the fame with the song entering the Top 50 of the best selling LPs of the year.

Among the biggest hits of Gianni Morandi we can recall songs like In Ginocchio da Te of 1964 which inspired the homonymous movie and is included in the soundtrack of the Parasite, C’Era Un Ragazzo Che Come Amava i Beatles e i Rolling Stones of 1966, Scende La Pioggia and Bella Belinda of 1970.

Throughout his career Gianni Morandi has collaborated with the artists like Claudio Baglioni, Adriano Celentano, Fabio Rovazzi for the hit Volare, Massimo Ranieri, Roberto Vecchioni, Mina, Iva Zanicchi and Jovanotti.

The latest works of Gianni Morandi are the songs released in 2022 Apri Tutte Le Porte which has ranked third at Sanremo Music Festival and written by Jovanotti and the bachata latino-romagnola La Ola.
