Ghali Amdouni, aka GHALI, is an Italian rapper. Born in Milan on May 21, 1993 from Tunisian parents, he has always lived in Italy, specifically in Baggio (Milan).

Between 2014 and 2016 he published on youtube a series of songs supported by videos with a cinematic cut, which led him to a growing popularity; today his channel exceeds 600 million views.

On May 26, 2017 he released his first album titled just Album with the independent label he founded called Sto Records. Album was the fifth best-selling album in Italy in 2017, it was certified triple platinum and featured some iconic tracks such as Habibi , Ninna Nanna (both triple platinum records), Pizza Kebab and Ricchi dentro (double platinum records).

On January 26, 2018 Ghali released his single Cara Italia, an iconic song that exceeded 100 million views on youtube, being certified triple platinum within a month and remaining steadily at the top of the airplay charts in the country for weeks. An extraordinary success that marks the crowning of a 4-year-long path that brings Ghali to the forefront as a real reference point of Italian urban music.

After the two international collaborations with Ed Sheeran, in the remake of Antisocial, and with Stormzy, on January 17 2020 the new single feat Salmo Boogieman was released, which on Spotify has been listened to two million times in a week, while the video on Youtube has exceeded half a million clicks in a day. The song has been at the top of the official Fimi/Gfk singles chart since the first week of its release.

In February 2020 Ghali took part in the 70th edition of the Sanremo Festival as super guest to present his new project DNA, which was released on February 20 and immediately proved to be a great success; the album went platinum in just three months as did the singles Boogieman and Good Times (which also remained at the top of the radio airplay charts for 6 consecutive weeks).

For the post-lockdown reopening in May, Ghali was chosen by the Municipality of Milan to design and carry out the yesmilano campaign, a communication activity inviting the citizens of Milan to restart while respecting the rules. Moreover, together with other stars from all over the world, Ghali joined the charity advertising campaign #Valentinoempathy, conceived by Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the maison Valentino. The brand donated one million euros to the Spallanzani hospital in Rome, in the front line in the fight against Covid-19.

Also in May, DNA + was released, the digital repack of the album containing four previously unreleased tracks enhanced by important collaborations: Cacao (feat. Pyrex), Boogieman RMX (feat. Don Patricio) Hasta la vista RMX (feat. Anna) and Milf (feat. Taxi B). Ghali's summer began with the first drive-in concert by an Italian artist in Dusseldorf, Germany on June 26, and the tracks Defuera by Dardust, Scatman by Achille Lauro featuring Ghali, Wallah and Chiagne Ancora feat Liberato e J Lord were released.

Ghali's latest single is Walo, which anticipates the release of his latest album in 2022.
