Geordie Greep, frontman of Black Midi, comes to Italy with his first solo album, The New Sound, due out Oct. 4, 2024. After years of world touring and three albums with the band, Greep reinvents himself, exploring new creative ideas without limits.
The album is a journey into lively and engaging alternative pop, in which the artist follows every creative impulse, collaborating with more than thirty musicians on two continents. Holy, Holy is the first single shared.
After three extraordinary albums with Black Midi, the last of which Hellfire was released in 2023, and nearly five years of nonstop world touring, Geordie Greep has recorded The New Sound, an album distinguished by unique atmospheres and captivating narratives, ranging between vivid imagery and surreal moments that defy the listener's expectations. From crowded streets to strange clubs and museums, The New Sound transports you to a world where imagination and reality constantly mix.
