About
Folamour, stage name of Bruno Boumendil, is a French DJ and producer.
Folamour has a very diverse musical background: he studied drums, bass, guitar and percussion, worked with the Orchestre National de Lyon and participated in projects that range from pop to jazz. As a result of this journey, his production is characterized by a rich musicality, which makes it romantic and poetic. In his music there are elements of house, funk and disco, with the addition of his distinctive touch.
After creating his own label, Moonrise Hill Material, alongside Ethyene, Kaffe Crème, and Okwa, Folamour released his first album, Umami, on 10 November 2017.
Folamour then moved to London, where he founded a new label, FHUO Records, through which he released his second album, Ordinary Drugs, on 15 February 2019.
Folamour released his third album, The Journey, on 11 June 2021.
Among Folamour’s best-known songs there are Ya Just Need 2 Believe in Yaself, Petit Prince Du Macadam and These Are Just Places To Me Now.
