Fantastic Negrito, a pseudonym for Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Under the name Xavier he released his debut album “The X Factor” in 1996 and then temporarily withdrew from the scene. He returned in 2014 and, under the new pseudonym Fantastic Negrito, released his second album “Fantastic Negrito".

Between 2016 and 2020 he released three albums, “The Last Days of Oakland”, “Please Don't Be Dead”, and “Have You Lost Your Mind Yet?”. All three won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

To date, his most recent works are the albums “Grandfather Courage", released in 2023, and “Son of a Broken Man", released in 2024.
