About
Exodus is an American music group formed in 1980 in San Francisco, California.
In 1985 they released “Bonded by Blood", an album considered historic for thrash metal. In the early 1990s they released three albums, “Impact Is Imminent” (1990), “Good Friendly Violent Fun” (1991) and “Force of Habit” (1992), before disbanding in 1992.
After reuniting in 1996 and releasing the album “Another Lesson in Violence", Exodus disbanded again until 2001.
They began releasing albums again in 2004 with the album “Tempo of the Damned", which was then followed by “Shovel Headed Kill Machine” (2005), “The Atrocity Exhibition... Exhibit A” (2007) and "Let There Be Blood" (2008).
Their most recent works are the albums “A Scene Of Retaliation” and “British Disaster: The Battle of '89 (Live At The Astoria)", both released in 2024.
The band now consists of Rob Dukes (vocals), Gary Holt (guitar), Lee Altus (guitar), Jack Gibson (bass) and Tom Hunting (drums).
