Elaine Mitchener is an artist and a composer. Her work includes improvisation, contemporary and artistic performance.
Born in East London from Jamaican parents, Elaine studied singing at Trinity College of Music of London and performed in several festivals and places in UK and Europe. She worked and performed with important musicians, composers, directors and visual artists. Elaine is also co-leader of a quartet with Alexander Hawkins and is the regular singer of the ensemble Apartment House.
The experience of this performance is a workshop made on the spot, not prepared, in which the spectators will be involved in an exploration of the performance.
