About
Dropkick Murphys, the symbol of celtic punk, are back in concert in Milan, for the only Italian date of the European tour 2025 at Alcatraz in Milan.
Always proud to have been the underdog of Boston’s rock 'n' roll and then become champions, Dropkick Murphys created the kind of music that was meant to be sung at full throttle in crowded arenas during the hottest moment of the match.
Their famous discography includes four albums debuting in the Top 10 of Billboard consecutively (Turn Up That Dial, 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory, Signed and Sealed in Blood, Going Out In Style), along with the Warrior’s Code gold certificate which includes the famous double platinum I’m Shipping Up To Boston.
Anyone who has seen one of their legendary concerts at The Rathskeller under Kenmore Square, spotted them in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-winning film The Departed, or seen them perform at Coachella (or one of hundreds of other festivals), has become part of their extended family.
The music of Dropkick Murphys has generated half a billion streams, silently sold over 8 million records around the world and the band has sold out in several continents. In 2020, the band was one of the first to embrace streaming performances, starting with their virtual performance Streaming Up From Boston St. Patrick’s Day.
Dropkick Murphys are back in 2022 with their first fully acoustic album, This Machine Still Kills Fascists (Dummy Luck Music /[PIAS]), and a theatrical tour. This Machine Still Kills Fascists, and their follow-up album Okemah Rising, bring to life mostly unreleased lyrics by legendary Woody Guthrie, curated for the band by Woody’s daughter, Nora Guthrie.
Dropkick Murphys have recently released a new single, Sirens, the first hint of a new album coming out in 2025 and which we hope to hear on the stage of Alcatraz in October.
