About
In compliance with the medical emergency and the Ministry disposition set to prevent COVID-19 from spreading, the David August concert scheduled on February, 26 at Teatro Antoniano in Bologna has been cancelled.
David August’s electronic music is fascinating: drawing from the subconscious, August is able to establish a deeply human and sincere relationship with his listeners through his music. After releasing some singles and remixes, David August put out his full-length debut album “Times” in 2013.
In 2017, August moved to Palestrina, Rome, his mother's birthplace, in pursuit of artistic inspiration. His stay in Palestrina inspired the album “Dcxxxix A.C.”, characterized by experimental and ambient soundscapes.
David August’s latest record, “D’Angelo”, was also inspired by Italy and the magical places David became attached to. For all of these reasons, August’s concert in Bologna is an even more special live show for the Hamburg-born musician.
On his gigs, August combines classical and electronic music and each performance is a unique moment, given the use of unusual synths and instruments.
Go on August’s musical trip, where music beats are synced with heartbeats!
