Dardust, the stage name of Dario Faini, is an Italian pianist and composer. Dario has begin to study piano at the age of nine. Growing up the musician approached pop and electronic.
In 2000 Dario debuted with the Elettrodust ranking first at the festival Rock Targato Italia and releasing the homonymous EP after obtaining the chance to be the opening act of artists like Afterhours and Elisa. The EP Elettrodust was followed by the album My Personal Rave including the songs Nanana and Blu.
In 2014 Dario Faini has begin the project Dardust with the release of the albums 7 (2015), Birth (2016) Slow Is (2017) and S.A.D. Storm and Drugs (2020) becoming an innovative musician who combines instrumental music, piano and electronic.
Dardust is also an important author and composer who has written songs for Emma, Mahmood, Alessandra Amoroso, Annalisa, Elodie, Marco Carta, Elodie, Tommaso Paradiso and Irama.
The latest work of Dardust is the song Horizon In Your Eyes, the first single taken off the new album which will be released in 2022. The song will presented at the Eurovision Song Contest with a spectacular performance with Benny Benassi and Sophie and The Giants for a performance dedicated to Giorgio Moroder.
