About

Following the resounding success, marked by numerous sold-out shows, of the tour "Riportando tutto a casa 30 anni dopo," which saw Stefano “CISCO” Bellotti perform with some former MCR members on stages across Italy's major clubs and theaters from March to August, a winter tour has been added due to popular demand. At the beginning of 2024, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of that iconic MCR album, the group Cisco was part of for 15 years, Cisco has decided to “riportare a casa” some of his old friends who contributed to the creation of that album. This decision reflects the extraordinary public response, with packed venues and contagious enthusiasm, showing how beloved the music still is today.

From those 23 memorable concerts came the idea for a live album, which was fully financed through a remarkably successful crowdfunding campaign, a true popular collection, with over 850 supporters. Consequently, due to high demand, "Riportando tutto a casa 30 anni dopo" will return in the fall with a second tour to present the new live album of the same name, set for release in November, which will also include a new track.

The lineup accompanying Cisco on stage will be even more significant than that of the previous tour: Luciano Gaetani, who initiated the MCR artistic project; Marco Michelini on violin, who has always been Luciano’s musical right-hand; Roberto Zeno, the historic drummer of MCR; and “Kaba” Cavazzuti, the artistic producer and long-time MCR member. Also joining will be some of Cisco’s recent collaborators: Bruno Bonarrigo on bass, Max Frignani on guitars, and Enrico Pasini on accordion and trumpet.

Other key members of the tour will include Giovanni Rubbiani on guitar and Alberto Cottica on accordion, as well as the internationally known "master of ceremonies," pipe and bagpipe player Massimo Giuntini. All of them were crucial figures in the MCR phenomenon of the ‘90s and 2000s, contributing to many of the songs from the early albums.
