Busta Rhymes is an American rapper and actor born on May 20, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York rose to prominence through his group Leaders of the New School collecting several hits.

After leaving his group Leaders of the New School, in 1996 Busta Rhymes debuted as a solo artist with the single Woo-Hah! Got You All Under Control. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s he collected numerous hits and topped the charts with his albums. In 2006 His seventh studio album, titled The Big Bang sold over 209,000 copies in its first week, earning the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Busta Rhymes has been nominated twelve times for Grammy Awards and has won five BET Hip Hop Awards. During his career he has released ten studio albums and numerous mixtapes, selling more than 9 million albums in the United States.

He has also achieved tremendous success through numerous collaborations with internationally renowned artists, including Don't Cha with the Pussycat Dolls, I Know What You Want with Mariah Carey, and Chris Brown's Look at Me Now, selling a total of over 20 million copies.
