About

Following the success of previous singles ‘USA’, ‘You've Got The Nerve’ and ‘You Should Know By Now’, the band recently joined The Hives on their sold-out UK tour. Written and recorded in the same spider-infested garage that spawned their eponymous debut album, the new album Still Nervous is set to be ‘the greatest second album in the history of second albums’. It is an album that simmered in the background as Bad Nerves took their frenetic live show around the world.

Talking about the track ‘Sorry’, frontman Bobby says: ‘’Sorry' is a song that came to me in its entirety early one morning. The main guitar riff and drum beat practically fell out of the sky. I went into the studio that day and recorded the whole thing. The final version was recorded as fast as I played it that day. Once it was completed, I thought it might actually give the new album some of the variety that the first record didn't have."

The illegitimate offspring of the Ramones and Strokes, Bad Nerves attracted attention with their first releases ‘Dreaming’, ‘Baby Drummer’, & ‘Can't Be Mine’. Their self-titled debut has placed them firmly in the hearts and minds of the best of the alternative scene; from UK music critics like Dan P Carter to Alyx Holcombe to Jack Saunders, to rock legends like Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong (who added the band to his Oakland Coffee playlist) and Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard (who labelled them as one of his favourite recent bands). Drawing parallels with Supergrass, Ramones and Jay Reatard, the band has been widely supported by Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6music, Radio X, Classic Rock, Kerrang! and Dork.

Immediately after recording the previous single ‘USA’ (which was mastered at the famous Abbey Road Studios), the band was invited to America to support Royal Blood, which provided a perfect opportunity to introduce the song to American audiences. The band was then personally invited by The Darkness to join them as special guests on their sold-out UK tour in December. After catching the attention of The Darkness' Justin Hawkins who, speaking about the band in his YouTube stream, said ’How can you not love this band? They're so damn cool', Bad Nerves have been personally invited to join them on their tours this autumn and winter. Special guest roles for the band over the past year have also seen them tour with Black Honey, Creeper, Salem, Tigercub, and The Struts while they played an unforgettable show at BST Hyde Park this year with rock legends Guns ‘n’ Roses.
