Gli Airbourne sono una band hard rock australiana fondata nel 2003 a Warrnambool, Victoria. La formazione della band è composta da Joel O'Keeffe (voce e chitarra), Ryan O'Keeffe (batteria), Matthew Harrison (chitarra) e Justin Street (basso).

Joel e Ryan O'Keeffe sono fratelli e figli del musicista Ross Wilson, leader dei Daddy Cool e Mondo Rock. I fratelli O'Keeffe hanno sviluppato il loro amore per la musica fin dall'infanzia, e Joel ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra all'età di 11 anni.

Dopo essersi trasferiti a Melbourne per cercare fortuna, gli Airbourne hanno firmato un contratto discografico con la Capitol Records nel 2006 e hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto, Runnin' Wild, nel 2007. L'album ha avuto un grande successo e ha raggiunto la top 30 delle classifiche in Australia e in diversi altri paesi.

Gli Airbourne hanno continuato a pubblicare album di successo, tra cui No Guts. No Glory. (2010), Black Dog Barking (2013) e Breakin' Outta Hell (2016). La loro musica è influenzata dai classici del rock degli anni '70 e '80, come AC/DC, Thin Lizzy e Judas Priest, e si caratterizza per riff di chitarra potenti e ritmi energici.
